Welcome to Gilbert Elementary
we offer an incredible learning environment for all students. The Spanish Immersion program offers an exciting opportunity for students (K-6) to learn academic content areas in both English and Spanish.
Dual Language Immersion Spanish
We offer families the unique opportunity to enroll their children in a dual language program from Preschool through 6th grade. This program allows students the advantage of learning their grade-level content in two languages, English and Spanish.

Gilbert Elementary offers two different GPS preschool programs located on our campus. Gilbert Elementary has Advantage Preschool for children 3-5 years old, and Building Blocks Preschool with an option for Spanish Immersion for children 3 & 4 years old.

We offer safety Patrol, News Crew, Folklorico Club, Kindness Club, Theater Club, Girls Running & Fitness, Yoga, Zumba, Indigenous Club, Chromebook/Robotics Club, and Choir Club. Tiger Mascot & Office Assistants is offered only to 6th graders.

Gilbert Elementary offers families the unique opportunity to enroll their children in a dual language program. VIK means Very Important Kids. We offer AZCase-accredited and licensed by the Department of Health Services through the State of Arizona Before and After School Programs available to GPS families.
